Lucrezia Borgia is making a feature film!

Romance, adventure, intrigue and love from the reign of the Czech King John of Luxembourg. All this in our movie period costume comedy written on the basis of preserved historical facts.

Our forthcoming independent film will be a musical, historical-romantic comedy, the central motif of which is the historical event mentioned above. The plot will be set in the time of King John of Luxembourg, in 1327, during his famous royal visit to the city of Znojmo.

The script and the soundtrack, i.e. the music for the film, are already ready. We are currently in the stage of preparing auditions for the main and supporting acting and singing roles. We are dedicated to finding suitable locations and preparing filming sequences.

Filming will begin in 2025 and the film will be released in 2026 on the occasion of the anniversary of the city of Znojmo.

Offer to everyone in the industry!

We will be happy if actors from Znojmo theater groups and fencing groups, as well as members of kindred spirits from theater, fencing, dance and other groups from all over the country, will take part in the filming with us. Including all those who join us even just as extras.

At the same time, we will be happy if not only filmmakers, but also all supporting professions join us, for the creation of the best possible film, which will try to return to the good old craftsmanship of our ancestors. Our role models are memorable films from the 1960s and 1970s.

We are looking for donors and sponsors!

The historical, albeit independent, film we are preparing, but which we want to create on a professional basis, will be a very financially demanding project. That is why from the very beginning we are looking for potential sponsors who will help us financially with the realization of the work. The large-scale film project will be filmed both in Znojmo and in many other places in the Czech Republic. The plan is to use the Barrand film studios and borrow their costumes and other props. In the casting of acting and singing roles in the film, we count on both professional actors and singers, as well as artists from the amateur theater and music scene.

The planned premiere in cinemas in 2026 will certainly not do without the presence of potential sponsors, whose logos will appear in the credits of the film. We will issue promotional items available. T-shirts, posters, movie soundtrack CD and more. (podpořit můžete zde)
